Sudanese Civil Society Groups
May 14, 2024 - Kele Global was invited among the Sudanese civil society groups to discuss the ongoing crisis in Sudan and prospect of peace with the U.S. envoy to Sudan and East Africa in attendance.
Ramadan Food Care Packages
March 28, 2024 - In honor of the holy Ramadan Month, we distributed three hundred food care packages to women, hosted at the Sudanese Women Association for Peace & Development. This initiative provided essential nourishment and hope to families facing hardship during a sacred time.
Sudan Fun Day
November 26, 2023 - Kele Global and SWAPD organized a welcoming event for newly arrived refugees, creating a child-friendly space and providing mental health and legal aid information. Women were provided with chances to highlight their cultural heritage and display their products. The day featured Burundi’s drum dancers, soccer, children’s facial painting, and creative playtime. Over 400 women, children, and youth participated and directly benefited from this vibrant, supportive community gathering.
Combating Violence Against Women
May 21, 2024 - Our executive team and team participated in a stakeholders’ meeting in Kampala, Uganda, focused on combating violence against women. By engaging with local leaders and organizations, we are helping to create safer, more supportive environments for women and girls in vulnerable communities.
