Fatmata Barrie

Fatmata Barrie, Esq., is a Sierra Leonean American with over 20 years of experience as a community advocate and organizer, with a focus on civic engagement and coalition building. Ms. Barrie is the head of the Barrie Law Center in Silver Spring, Maryland, specializing in immigration and special education law, and provides consulting and registration services to nonprofits. She previously served as the Executive Director of the Montgomery County Police Accountability Board and the Administrative Charging Committee, where she worked to ensure fairness in the law enforcement system.
