Communities know best what their needs are, thus enhancing their capacity on how to handle health-related issues is more sustainable. Therefore, KG works with local individuals, community members, health practitioners, and other stakeholders to improve public health awareness.
Sudan and the Republic of South Sudan both suffer from access to functioning healthcare facilities. In many of the rural areas, there are no well-equipped medical facilities that can treat simple diseases or more threatening complicated cases or surgical operations.
Kele Global provides health awareness to many of the Sudanese and South Sudanese people particularly those that lack access to quality healthcare facilities and medical supplies, and equipment in the rural areas where communities have been affected by the underdevelopment in rural areas of Nuba Mountains, Blue Nile, Darfur and other areas of Sudan and South Sudan. These areas have stifled healthcare in the already nonexistent clinics and hospitals. Local farmers and their families in remote areas should not have to worry about simply treated diseases like malaria, typhoid, and cholera…and instead know that they have access to treatment or can afford the price of medicine.
